Wildlife Safaris in Africa

Enjoy Tanzania Safari tour package will take visitors to the iconic Serengeti to watch the Great Migration, to see the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, to see the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and to walk the white sand beaches of Zanzibar. A Big 5 and Beach safari tour of Tanzania combines the best of what is on offer in Tanzania.

Start your stylish Tanzania migration safari in luxury accommodation located between two majestic mountains, Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Visit the floor of the iconic Ngorongoro Crater and follow the annual migration route and stay in two lovely camps in the Serengeti. Most of your time will be spent on game drives and spotting wildlife. During the day traditional Masai tribesmen will be your guides on your walking safaris and evenings are spent around campfires with a glass of your favourite tipple.

Experience luxury tents with huge private verandas and have the opportunity of being within arm’s reach of the river crossings in northern Serengeti. Explore the quieter eastern part of central Serengeti which is home to big cats like cheetah, leopards and lions. Even spend a night out under the stars on the Stargazer platform in the Serengeti.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and road transferred to the lodge. Spend the night Kambi ya Tembo on a bed & breakfast basis. Kambi ya Tembo has Kilimanjaro in the background and views across into Kenya’s Amboseli. You could be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of the ancient old elephants with their huge tusks at this camp.

Each tent has en suite facilities and is comfortable and spacious with a private terrace. All either have the Amboseli or the Kilimanjaro view. The camp runs on solar power, has an indoor and outdoor dining area and fire pit. It is a great place to relax after traveling before you embark on your safari!

Transfer to the Arusha Airport for a scheduled light air transfer to Manyara. You are then met by a camp representative and road transferred to the camp near the Ngorongoro Crater. Spend 2 nights at Lemala Ngorongoro on a full board basis with shared game drives and two days exploring the crater floor.

Lemala Ngorongoro is an intimate, luxurious seasonal camp situated in Acacia forests on the rim of the crater. Each of the eight stylish tents comes complete with wooden flooring, heating and the communal area has large sofas and bookshelves. The advantage of this camp is its proximity to the crater.

Depart to the Manyara Airstrip for a short flight to the Central Serengeti. On arrival, you will be met by your guide and set off for the camp. The drive can take up to 2 hours, as it is essentially a game drive! Settle into this unique Ehlane Plains Camp, in the eastern Serengeti.

With spectacular sweeping views over this remote part of the Serengeti, Ehlane Plains offers a unique, luxurious and rewarding safari experience. With only 8 tents, all encompass the view. Game viewing is excellent all year round and the camp is within driving distance to the wildebeest migration for most of the year.

You will be dropped to Seronera Airstrip for your flight north, to Kogatende, which lies in the northern Serengeti where you spend 3 days. Kaskaz Mara Camp will be on hand to collect you and to take you through to camp, a short drive away. Kaskaz Mara is great to visit all year round, and in July through to October, it shines! The Mara River is nearby where you can witness the dramatic river crossings as hundreds of wildebeest enter the Masai Mara.

Take off to Zanzibar for relaxation after the park experience. Bwejuu is one of the top beaches in Zanzibar. This white sandy beach on the island’s southeast coast is lined with palm trees and only an hour and a half away from Stone Town. It’s one of Zanzibar’s quietest areas, and a favourite choice for individuals looking for complete relaxation, tranquillity, and seclusion.

The North Coast is probably the most popular area of Zanzibar for travelers. Due to its location, it’s pretty much unaffected by the changing tides – proving uninterrupted beach access all day long. The beaches here are some of the most beautiful in Zanzibar and they’re ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and diving.

Both Nungwi and Kendwa are fantastic beaches to visit in Zanzibar. Nungwi Beach features turquoise waters and stunning white sand. Visitors can enjoy an array of activities, from snorkeling to kayaking and horseback riding.

Stone Town is the best area to stay in Zanzibar if you want to be close to museums, markets, and other tourist attractions. You can still get to the beach easily from many hotels here. Stone Town is an amazing city with plenty of opportunities to learn about the island’s history.

You can have a great experience in Zanzibar with four full days, but five will make it much more comfortable. If you are a bigger beach fan or want more recovery time after a safari, you could add another night or two simply to relax.

June to October are the best times to go to Zanzibar as the heavy rains have cleared. These weather conditions are perfect for long days, relaxing in the sun and exploring the wonderful sights of the ‘Spice Island’, maybe on a romantic Zanzibar.

Transfer back to the main airport in Tanzania after full maximization and relaxation for your on-time flight.
